Annual Percentage Rate — a more complete picture of your loan cost. It includes the interest rate plus mortgage insurance, points, and some closing costs.

Closing costs

Additional services you'll pay for at close — appraisal, title, escrow, etc. We estimate $8,000–$12,000 for most loans. Your advisor can walk through the exact breakdown.

Points / Credits

Paying points means more at closing for a lower rate. Taking credits means less at closing with a slightly higher rate. Ask your advisor what's right for you.
